Let's Play "VALDI: Shadows" (PICO-8) - Collecting Crystals on Falling Platforms

VALDI: Shadows is a Puzzle PICO-8 game by beepyeah. The game features 15 levels. The goal each time of collecting all Green Crystals to open a portal to the next level.

It's a fun game, and a bit on the short side as far as PICO-8 games go. I recommend playing through it once if you're interested in this fantasy console.

In this video you'll watch my first playthrough of VALDI: Shadows. I solved some levels quickly. I had trouble during some levels, though. During the last level, I tried for almost 5 minutes, and didn't figure it out. I had to do somethings IRL so I stopped the recording.

PICO-8 is a Fantasy Console designed to create, share and play small retro-inspired games. Games made for PICO-8 are constrained in aethistics, code and size to encourage creativity. PICO-8 comes with a built-in code editor, graphics, and sound tools. Games are distributed in image files called Cartridges. In this series of videos, I discover great games made on this Fantasy Console, letting you discover these games with me.
