Hello everyone! What's Wednesday this week remind you of? Am here to talk about my favorite special Khmer festival that will appear in the next mony. In my region, during Pchum Ben, we have this tradition of 15 days gathering everyone either youngster or elder at the pagoda. Pagoda of course since there will be most important practical traditional to do. In one village, the chef's village will invite all members together to share the recipes we've made and cook for the monks every day throughout September, praying and this is a way to honor our ancestors and show respect for our cultural traditions.

But guess what? This year, our Pchum Ben change to October according to the new 2023 calendar. Waiting until October to prepare the event would just fills me with regret later. You know, during those 15 days, the prices of costumes and packaged desserts and snack, the price will increase so high especially in beverages. It's crazy how the same bottle that used to cost 2000 riel now goes for 2500 riel.

So, why should I wait when I can prepare the festival since this month instead?

The Premier Center Sen Sok,

Currently, I have to drive an extra 200 meters to the mart where I can get affordable beverages. The road in front of the big market is closed for road preparations, but am glad, it's just the start of the new repairing since we been so difficult driving on a broken road. It'll all be worth it though!

So this is Sen Sok city, this white building stand in the center of the whole city, make it even more attractive. They usually initiate a big ceremony and rent for a big event like weddings.

About the building itself gives me mixed feelings. From the outside, it looks quite fancy, make me wondering if they sell expensive stuff. But after visiting the mart a couple of times now, it's clear that some food items are indeed pricier compared to other places. However, I have also found that some beverages are more affordable there than outside. So, I think it's a bit of a mixed bag and equal.

I already bought my beverage, and at the moment while I was checking the product my son just text me to buy him some snacks.

Something really wrong or strange with me? I don’t know why I was always get impressed by the clear packaging. Clear packaging, we can see the things inside which look obvious and so attractive. But the issue is that if some of them are broke or falls from the piece I am sure costumer won’t decided to buy them or just move the first one and selecting another package behind just to get the best one. Yes that what I used to do and I admited.

Have you ever tried something with salted eggs before? I was so curious about where I used to buy salted egg potato chips because the situation is during the middle of the night and I was traveling by bus, and the thing is that I opened the packaging at the hotel knowing it taste pretty, if I open them on a bus I would check the location of the store direct, it just my bad. But right in front of me, all I have are salted potatoes. It's not exactly what I was looking for. You see, with salted egg chips, there's always a small piece of egg on each chip that makes it taste incredibly delicious!

OH, what a sweet deal! I step on the rows of milk products, and guess what? Almost 40 percent of them are being offered at a whopping 50 percent discount! As I checked the expiry date, I noticed that they will only expire next week.

Although I initially thought they should have reduced the price a few days later, but well it's still an incredible opportunity for the customers. Cheers to nice savings, 😁!
