Hidden Street Walk - Snails 🐌 and Beaches ⛱️!

I met my friend on the street behind Vanda institution to return her forgotten headphones. The city noise was loud by music but it was a modern sounds. But I kept holding onto the headphones tightly. I saw different kinds of people talking and laughing. Despite the chaos, I stayed focused on returning the headphones. I hoped that my friend would get back the clear and pure sound they offered. As I got closer to my friend, the noise didn't go away. It grew even louder.

Behind Vanda Institution

Is there anything concerning you recently ? Recently, I made my way to the busy street of Toul Tompong, heading towards the Vanda institution where my friends worked. It was a favorite place for me since 2010, and I was excited to see how it had changed over the years. I noticed that there were more street food stalls now, thanks to social media advertising.

Snails 🐌

As I walked past the different stalls, one selling snails caught my attention. They were just the right size for boiling and eating with spicy chili sauce. I was curious, so I asked the seller if I could try one before buying. She agreed, and I was happy.

I watched as the seller carefully prepared the snail. She gave me a small piece to taste, and it was amazing. The flavor exploded in my mouth, with a hint of spice. It was so delicious that I decided to buy some to take home.

After thanking the seller, I bought a serving of the cooked snails. They were already prepared, so I could just relax and enjoy them at home. The thought of dipping them into the chili sauce made my mouth water.

As I walked back home, I realized how much things had changed in the neighborhood. The street was bustling and different now, but it still had its charm. The variety of food stalls added excitement and color to the area. It was clear that street food had become more popular, and I was happy to be a part of it.

The lively atmosphere and delicious smells made me want to invite my friends over to my house nearby. But unfortunately, they were all too busy with their own things. So, I decided to explore the stalls on my own. I had heard good things about them. Plus, the prices were affordable for students like me.

I also wanted to try using sugar cane, so I simply had to wait for the seller to prepare it for me. The seller asked me twice about the order, clarifying whether I wanted the big size or the small size. Since I am not a regular customer of hers, she wanted to make sure she got the order right. Although it wasn't the usual time for students to leave school, the atmosphere in the area was still crowded.

Kampot Beach ⛱️

This time I remember one of my old friend. Once, my friend who loves snails and I bought a snail during our vocation at Kampot. We would soak the snail in a mixture of chili and lemon Kaffir to remove any impurities, this is a tradition of us of cleaning it with chili and lemon Kaffir before eating so just let chill at the beach first . But we forgot about the snail in our hotel because we were having fun at a restaurant 😂. Even more, my friends ordered a lot of crabs because they love seafood that lead us totally forget about the snail. We were so busy enjoying ourselves that we didn't realize how full we were getting. When we remembered the snail and rushed back to the hotel, we were surprised to find it unharmed and waiting for us. We were relieved that our forgetfulness didn't cause any harm to the snail. Though we has nothing to do with that because of our fullness.

You are so pretty in the picture and so does your friend. Also these days you don't see that on the street very often. Have a nice day.
