Will Vouchers Take Utility Away From DEC?
In this video, I cover a concern I have regarding the recent ideas thrown out to give more utility to Vouchers. As someone who receives a good amount of vouchers daily, I recognize that DEC utility is much more important to get the flywheel going.
If vouchers will be offered as a discount wherever DEC is burned then we will be limiting the amount of DEC burned, thus slowing down the flywheel. How much of an impact will this have? It's hard to say now, but it's definitely worth watching.

Vouchers for tournaments does seem like a heady idea, I would get behind it for sure.
I also don't mind them being used as a gate/additional fee for things, but you are right that it is compounding problems with getting DEC to peg when it can actively be used as a discount/replacement of DEC purchases.
