How to choose a tent...!!!

Dear Hivers

Nowadays the choice of tents is huge. Hundreds of types of tents are available on the market with different sizes, shapes, fabrics and of course prices. You may have already wondered how exactly to choose the right tent for you. Here are some basic tips to keep in mind if you want to make a really good choice.

Choose a tent that fits the size of your body. If it is too short, it can make your evening really uncomfortable. On the other hand, it should not be too wide, as this means losing the heat that your body radiates too quickly. Consider whether only you will sleep in it or you will be more people. The choice in the size of the tent is entirely yours, but take these recommendations into account and you will not go wrong.

The second very important point is its weight and whether it will be easy to carry, especially if you decide to camp alone. If it's too heavy, it may not be that easy to carry, along with all the other things you've decided to take. If you have more people, you can easily distribute the elements and its weight to the people in the group.

Water resistance is the third important quality that is good to look for. It often happens that a storm occurs, even when the forecast does not say so. For this reason, we recommend that your tent be waterproof, this way you will save yourself many possible problems. When looking for a waterproof tent, two-layer ones are a good price-quality solution.

Choose fiberglass slats. They are lighter and easier to carry, make the tent compact, and at the same time extremely strong.

Consider the terrain on which it will be stretched and whether it will be well located, you can ensure the type of wedges. There are different wedges that give different stability for different types of terrain:

T-shaped are safe in sand, soft surfaces and snow;

V-shaped for hard terrain and rock.

If you are not sure exactly what terrain you will need to set up your tent, it is best to take both types.

Armed with these tips, you are ready to look for your artificial shelter for the wild. Success!
