MASS INDOCTRINATION DAY 4/ THURSDAY 4TH JANUARY 2024

I thank God for giving me the privilege to listen to another teaching of the doctrine of God from brother Eli. This is what I learned from the teachings.

Prayer is making our heart desires know to God and for our prayer to be heard and listen by God there are things we should put in place like purifying our heart and turning away from evil. We purify our heart by following God commandments genuinely, doing good to others and not committing evil.

"1 Peter 3:11. You must turn away from evil and do good; you must strive for peace with all your heart."

"2 chronicles 7:14. if they pray to me and repent and turn away from the evil they have been doing, then I will hear them in heaven, forgive their sins, and make their land prosperous again."

When we pray we should be careful of who we pray to and how we do the prayer for example we should not be praying to Mary or asking Mary to pray for us, good we can have respect for her for the fact that she was privileged to be the mother of Christ when she was alive but we should not pray to her. Mary is dead and the dead has not resurrected so how can we be asking the dead to pray for us does that make sense even mary is not in support of the act. When we also pray we should avoid saying one thing many times we should be precise and straight forward in our prayers.

"Act 22:16. And now, why wait any longer? Get up and be baptized and have your sins washed away by praying to him."

Baptizing is what we Christian must do immediately we received Christ and accepted him as our lord and personal savour, we should not neglect this act or count it as irrelevant because that is the commandments of God.

"2 Timothy 1:3. I give thanks to God, whom I serve with a clear conscience, as my ancestors did. I thank him as I remember you always in my prayers night and day."

God want us to be prayerful, we should pray both night and day and in everything we want to do we should pray. When we want to eat, sleep, travel, or in need of something we should pray. Prayer should be part of our lifestyle. Our character should be pure to others around us and not know any grudges against them but instead our character should show Christ to them and we should repent from our evil ways God is always ready to forgive us.
