Transforming Lives Through Acts of Generosity

We all needs a support from one another whether it's financially support, skills, time or emotional support, the acts of generosity is one of the thing that can transform lives and change the world to a better place. In this life no one have it all, and that is why practicing generosity, extend our helping hand or show compassion to one another goes a long way.

Act of generosity is beyond what many of us think nowadays, I have see several people who think generosity is only monetary value, that is not the truth, showing love to one another is not only monetary, we can show compassion to our neighbors or people who are in need in different ways and will be appreciated as well. Honestly when we extend helping hands is just like making an positive impact in the life of that person, in fact not only in the life of the person, we are also contributing to the progress of the community that person belongs to which i think is a good thing we need in the world right now.

A week ago a "War" theme was set by #hiveopenmic for the week prompt, you know the first thing that came into my mind? War is not a good thing but there won't be a space for it if we're kind to one another. If we be an helping hand for one another their will be a peace in the world, any one who received an act of kindness will be inspired to forward and extend the same kindness in their capacity to others and that is how we create cycle of generosity, and when we create cycle of generosity we are bringing unity, compassion in the world.

I don't know if people really understand being generous put smiles on someone's else face. As human if we receive something we will be happy and feel good about it, making someone happy alone is a good thing that we supposed to look and embrace act of generosity. Generosity is beyond monetary values, giving your money is not enough, time giving to help someone, support you give when someone in need and several thing that attached to progress of someone's else is what really defined being generous, but i don't know why people think until when they have the money before they can show people love, generosity is about open up our hearts to help people which is for both poor and the rich.

I believe nothing can recreate this world than act of generosity, it's only thing I consider can make this world a better place and transform people's life, we can extend generosity simply provide help to the people in your neighborhood such like providing a meal when you noticed they are going through hardship, donate some of things you are not use but someone else is in need of it can really make a significant difference in someone's life. Although I know this might be hard to do because of the things happening right now in the world, in a country like Nigeria generosity become challenging because people fear of judgement or rejection.

They worry about how their acts of generosity will be received or whether will be appreciated, also many think giving out their things and probably something bad comeup to the recieved, people will judge that is what that person received that cause it. This mentality really affect people a lot in my country, but I don't think that should stop us not to be kind, if we understand giving never wasted, even if efforts go unnoticed so far you take that action it will reflect and you already take an impact in the world. I know is not easy thing to understand people perspective and experience and give them the support in our kinderheart if we think about those things.

I'm kind of person I do appreciate a lot because I know generosity is a simple thing for everyone but not everyone can do it, so it's not easy as it call.

Anytime I remember the kindness I received last year from someone that doesn't know me or know where I come from on this platform, it always makes me think in a world often dominated by self-interest people there is still a someone that can spread far beyond the initial act. Honestly If we have plenty of @guiltyparties that engage in acts of generosity without expecting anything in return we are going to create a compassionate world. I never experienced this act of kindness before since I was born, imagine helping a community you don't know and the habitat with drinking water, helping someone who is not your kid from other countries, honestly non of the politicians here can do it without any reasons, is either want a vote from people or want to use it for embezzlement.

I know many are like that on this platform because I see great things they've been doing offline hive and it will be good if we can learn from them whether it's offering a helping hand, lending an empathetic ear, or simply spreading positivity, these actions can have a positive and lasting effect on individuals and communities.

In that way I'm proud to say people on Hive blockchain are such a wonderful people, they always offering support and show genuine care and concern to others, even to those who are not on the chain. I really appreciate those supporting offline hive-project in order to build a more compassionate world

Let us embrace the act of generosity, it's what brings everyone together regardless of our culture, background, countries, being can recreate many things that have spoiled in the world. We dont have to wait until we have money before we think we can show people love, No! Non-monetary can also have a big effect on the community and people, so i think it is good time to embark on generosity. Those who have enough should share with those that doesn't, and those have material but not in use kindly share to those that need it and let us just imagine a world where kindness is normal thing, have mindset of help one another without expecting anything in return.

I believe if the world is like that, individual will feel good receiving and inspired to give and there we are creating a world of compassion. So let us choose to be kind, be an helping hand for others, together, we can make a difference and create a compassion world where acts of generosity transforming lives.
