My mom is health-conscious woman

My mom is health-conscious woman she hate seeing us eating junkie foods especially taking ice cream she believed frozen food are ultimate enemy of good nutrition, honestly I don't think any woman in this era will stop her kids not to take ice cream because children love taking ice cream but mom always go against taking ice cream and for me I have insatiable love for ice cream. However whenever an ice cream seller came to our street I always hear the siren from far but I don't have a way out to buy because my mom always around.

One sunny afternoon, I couldn't resist the siren of an ice cream seller I then told my mom the clothes I spread on the fence drop outside I want to pick it up, but she don't know I have a mission to accomplish. I picked part of the money I've been keeping for ice cream as soon as about to step out of the gate my mom called me to go back my brother will help me when he is back from work, it was a disappointing moment because I think she knows my move already, but I don't give up. I keep pretending as if I was not angry but using other eyes to monitor her and as soon she got busy with her chores, I hatched a quick plan to sneak out unnoticed.

Don't ask me how I always sneak out without the gate making a sound, I know how I do my things 😂 I am professional in tiptoed.

Luckily I darted out without her noticing anything and very excited like breaking a prison. You know how Micheal Scofield and the inmates are happy in the prison break, that was the mood that day.😂

Honestly I was so lucky that day because I almost missed the ice cream man I was just fortunate that day, however with my mischievous grin I point at the vanilla and strawberry top with cherry because I've missed those combinations. After my order I start to think against how will I manage to take the ice cream home without my mother notices it, and I don't want to share it with any friends too. So I walk to our house gate and seat down to enjoy my frozen treasure, and after clean my mouth after going against my mother's wishes, but sometimes it good to do that when you are not allowed to do things that give you joy. As a kid, ice cream taste is irresistible and if I don't came up with brilliant idea like this I will not do what gives me joy.

When reaching home my mom blissfully unaware of my secret adventure because I did everything so fast, and immediately I came back she is still in the kitchen, I don't even worry because I've already accomplished my mission and my belly full of ice cream.

The next morning is weekend, my mom plan to get her hair fix, but immediately she got to the gate she meet the plastic of the ice cream I took the previous day outside the gate. She don't even think twice she knows I'm the one that left it there, honestly it was a big mistake I forget to keep it away from the gate. My mother picked it up and come inside and asked me "is this yours?" Shocked and puzzled, but I don't know how to lie I said yes to the question, then she burst into laughter. I already know I'm in trouble and I know her reaction after will be bad because I was caught red-handed, but to the surprise she don't stay mad at me she only ask me for a deal and tell me why we shouldn't be talking frozen treat much.

Mom struck a deal with me that I will be talking ice cream once a weak, I think she had no choice than to agreed on my favorite, and since then she always get me the ice cream every Friday and I am pleased with the idea.
