My Cleaning Activity For Wednesday, the 24rd of April, 2024.

Good day, fellow divers, welcome to my blog. I carried out my cleaning activity for the day. I picked up the refuse around an abandoned building in my neighbourhood and packed the refuse in a clear garbage bag then I disposed it off properly.

Tyres are also among the wastes people dispose of indiscriminately in the neighbourhood, used tyres are thrown into water bodies, farmlands, open spaces etc.
Tyre recycling, also known as rubber recycling, is the art of recycling used tyres that are no longer suitable for use on vehicles due to wear or irreparable damage. Due to the large volume produced, the strength of the tyres, and the ecologically harmful components in the tyres, burying tyres can pollute the earth, and dumping them in landfills will also harm the ecosystem.
Tyres are recycled and broken into smaller pieces in some parts of the world and used for road construction in some countries. Rather than the usual procedure, the patented method is used. Tyre waste is ground up by the company to make a mat that can be used to strengthen asphalt for road construction.
