Many people think that people who want development can go ahead and leave the Country, Nigeria. They can go ahead and form a new country. Because we have never been as unsure of Nigeria's future as of now. Many things are going the wrong way. And no one seems to know the way forward, even the president is confused because everything is at a standstill. The giant of Africa is slumbering, the citizens have been at the receiving end of all the problems. They are either told to sacrifice or tighten their belts while the leaders feed on the sacrifice or loosen their belts, as a result of developing a pot belly. Everyone is already tired, they want to go their separate ways, the Igbo feel the Yoruba are the problems, the Yoruba feel the Hausa are the problems while the Hausa feel it's the Igbo. They are all playing the blame game. Instead of us to stand as one, because the cord of many strands is not easily broken, we are busy wasting the time we have to develop our country. Let's forget our differences and unite towards nation-building. Let's agree to disagree.

After independence, many countries went to build their nations, each country went to work. But in Nigeria, after independence, our people went to pray and fast, no wonder our achievement as a country is visible as we ranked the second most prayerful country on earth, with a 95% prayer rate, with only a 1% difference between us and Afghanistan.

So, while Nigerians were busy praying, Malaysia was busy growing its palm plantations. They became the second-largest producer of palm oil globally and built a great factory for it.

While Nigerians were praying, Singapore went into investment in technology. While the rest of the world is living in 2024, Singapore seems to be in 2124. People all over the world mistakenly believe that China, Asia, or the United States are the guiding light of technological progress. Singapore is the most futuristic place where technological advancements are always taking place and so fast like the supersonic jet.

While Nigerians were praying, India entered the world of ICT, which has now become the engine of the Indian economy, contributing to its growth and development. China went into massive industrialization.

While Nigerians were praying. China's economy was boosted by industrial production and manufacturing exports.

As Nigerians were yelling in praise and yelling in applause. The UAE went into massive infrastructure development and became one of Western Asia's most developed countries. The US government looked at how to invest in renewable and nuclear energy sources, as well as transportation, utilities, decarbonization, and nuclear energy production.

While Nigerians were putting big speakers in our places of religious worship, the USA was mounting men on the moon. The United States was the first to send a crewed mission to land on the Moon.

This is part of the reason Nigeria as a country is facing different problems today as a nation. We have neglected other things we were supposed to have done. All the above are a mist many reasons for numerous advocates of separatism. This is why Nnamdi Kanu and Sunday Igboho who share the same goals are advocating for every tribe that makes up Nigeria to go their separate ways.

The Ijaw, the fourth-largest ethnic group, is primarily found in the Niger Delta. The Ijaw have long resent that the bulk of their oil wealth goes elsewhere, while oil production has severely harmed the delta ecosystem and destroyed traditional livelihoods based on fishing and farming, this has also made the Ijaw people feel cheated and also want to part ways from Nigeria.

Corruption and kidnapping have become the order of the day. Nigeria also boasts many corrupt leaders in the world. Although we have many great people who would have done it better and differently, they are never considered because of godfatherism. All these are the reasons why many are still asking, Is it time to end Nigeria?
But I am of the opinion that Nigeria will not separate as a nation, it will continue to wax stronger and stronger every day. United we stand divided we fall. Long live Nigeria!!!.

I remember reading about the malaysian story on a course i did in my final year, i think it was engineer in society.
i believe even though we're in a bad place currently, it'll take our collective efforts to make us great again.

Praying and hoping for a miracle means you're expecting others to do something and in most cases people expect God to do something. No offense, I'm not against praying or religion in general, but things don't get done by themselves, you need to work hard to achieve something.
