What to add and remove from our Educational system.

Education in the basics of our growth in any country. Without Education there will be no growth and that is the reason why we need to check very well into our Educational system to know what to remove and what to add in order to make in better for learning. We have lots of things that have come into our Educational system and corrupted what we use to have before. Before now we have a very good structure for Education. But friends from what I have observed, our Education system is Dead and it really need to be cleaned.

Talking about a dead Educational system, we have I called a system that have become a shadow of itself. What we have today is what needs a change. Our system of education needs an eye that can see very well.

WHAT I THINK THAT NEEDS A CHANGE IN OUR EDUCATION.

I will bring to an end - who you know and not what you know in our Educational system.

During my primary school day, we have teachers that are ready to teach you until you understand what you need to understand. Some of those teachers can go extra mile to teach you at their own expense. Then we have one teacher to a class and yet they give us everything we need for a whole season. But what about today? We have a teacher for a subject. What do they offer today. When I went to NCE four years back, I discovered that some students teachers can't even spell their names. Then how are they going to manage to teach the children when they eventually get to the classroom. The most annoying part is that some of those students came out with a better results at the end of the day and we came out the a lower results. Sometimes I wonder the magic that they do yo get such results. One thing that I have noticed in our Educational system today is who do you know? Not what do you know? Hahaha 😄. Maybe some of you will be saying what is the meaning of what she just said. This is the simple truth. If you know someone at the top, you will gain admission into the higher institution of learning. If you also know someone at the top, you will end up getting a lecturing job wether you are qualified or not. This is it.

If I am giving the opportunity, I will make sure that the right person get admissions and also the right people get to work in school.

WHAT I NEED TO ADD INTO OUR EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM.

I will make sure that teachers are well taken care of.

If you will agree with me, you will know that teachers do a lot of work in forming every individual to become what he or she wants. But teachers are not appreciated. The government don't give attention to teachers, instead they give more attention to the politicians. Without the teacher, the politicians will not be there. So, for me, I will give more attention to teachers. Makes sure that they are paid well. I will make sure that every teacher have a house, eat good food, take very good care of their families. If this is done, the teacher will concentrate to give his or her best to the students. But if the teacher can not afford his own childrens fees, can't pay house rent, can't eat good food, then how will the teacher give his best to the school? You will discover that the teachers attention will be divided. Sometimes you will see transfer of aggression.

I believe that if the right people are employed into the school to teach and the teacher is well taken care of, things will change for better and our Educational system will be what other countries will envy.
