The possibility of forgetting oneself in chase of money
This special day we are back again to the house for some special reasons. Is been a while I came around and I am happy that I am here today. Basically I have noticed or realized that making money comes with a lot of risk involved. Just like the proverbs from our people that says " any way that leads to making money is not an easy way" it then means that there is risk involved in making money.
But we can not because of the risk involved back out of making money. We just need to know what is involved and how we did need to go about it. If we back out, it will mean one thing - been a poor beger for the rest of our lives. That also is more risky than the mean risk we are running away from. It is better to face it squally and make sure we deal with it once and for all.
WHAT ARE THE RISK INVOLVED?
Losing yourself at the process of making money. I have seen quite alot of people who have forgotten themselves and keep on the pursuit of money. Sometimes, they forget the road that brought them to where they are. Problems don't get to finish or come to an end. So, when you get carried away chasing money that will be used to solve your problems, it keeps multiplying and will never come to an end. It then means that you will keep getting the money and will forget yourself and dreams.
When man's problem will finish is after death. But as long as we are alive, we will keep having enough problem to disturb us. So, what is the essence of what we are saying this morning? This is to make us to remember who we are, what we are, how far we want to go in life.
Do well to always turn your back and check if you still remember your ways around. Don't continue to hunt for money and at the end forget yourself. Get enough money, but remember that you have a vision for life. That should not be thrown away.
Secondly, some even don't care to eat well because of the chase after wealth. If I get all the wealth, what happens if I don't eat the money? I have ended up cheating myself. I need to create time to eat well even as I make attempt to make all the money that I want.
Thirdly, getting money that will not be used to help others out of their trouble is of no use. I believe that my money should help me solve my own problems, also help me in solving other people's problem. It doesn't matter how little, but what matters is that I can still remember some one and give a helping hands to that person. This I believe is one of man's purpose on earth: to help each other. To rise others when they are falling, so that tomorrow I may still have someone who will help me up when I am also falling.
Always remember yourself no matter what.
