Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Rebirth Ability with magic monsters

Greetings to all Splinterlands warlocks, I a here once again, and I welcome you all to my blog as well, today I write to submit and share my entry to the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Since this is a random battle, I would be making use of any maybe a good battle of mine. Let's see how it goes in this post guys.

I used my account @abu78 in participating in this battle. I am currently playing in the Bronze stage. Before I demonstrate my battle here, let's briefly look into the Rulesets of the gameplay that I would be displaying here.

Summoner:

I chose Bortus; a summoner so that my opponent's monsters would have a reduced magic attack. It was a 13-mana game condition and I have to manage my card selection to suit that. In using the Obsidian, I decided to get cards that attack with magic and also having Mycelic Morphoid monster in my lineup helps to effect its thorns ability to any monster that attacks by melee. I was having two monsters with the magic attack ability and that gave me the upper hand.

1st Position:

Fungus Fiend, this monster is a 0 mana card and it has a speed of 1 and 1 melee attack damage. It is a level 1 monster with zero armor and 2 lives. I placed it in the first position so that it can attack the first monster of my opponent with the melee attack damage.

From splintertools I was having 100% chance of winning the battle but and I was fully confident about that. Without much ado, let's move straight to the battle stage.

Round 1:
First of all, all monsters took their effect from the summoner by increasing my magic attack monsters ability. I placed Djinn Biljika at the last position because it can’t be attacked until it’s in the first position, so that would help it to always be attacking my opponent’s monsters without itself being attacked.

Regal Peryton monster on my lineup attacked first followed by my opponent’s first position monster. Uraeus monster of my opponent attacked my mycelia morphoid monster where its thorns ability damaged its armor after being attacked. Rebirth ability brought back my monster and the fun continued. At the end of the round, no monster was dead from both sides and this was as a result of the rebirth ability of all monsters.

Round 2:
Round two then began and as usual, my Regal Peryton monster with the highest speed attacked first and killed my opponent’s first monster. Also, my first position monster was also killed and similarly Uraeus monster of my opponent’s monster attack Mycelic morphoid again on my lineup which also damaged it back with its thorns ability.

At the end of this round, I was left with the two monsters and I was able to eliminate only one of his monsters. At this juncture, I started to lose hope in winning this battle, but then the battle still continues. My opponent had four more monsters in his lineup.

Round 3:

In this round, I was just hoping that Regal Peryton isn't killed and that would grant me the chance of winning the battle. Fortunately, on my side, Regal Peryton wasn't killed and I was able to eliminate one of my opponents’ monster at the first position in this round.

At the end of the round, I was still having my two monsters intact and my opponent was now having three monster on his lineup.

Round 4:

In this round, I killed his Venator Kinjo. Aldo, in this round I was able to kill his two monsters for the first time but the rebirth ability brought them back and so I was hoping to kill them in the next round.

It was a great time to fight the battle till the winner is found.

Round 5:

I wasn't expecting more rounds to come by, because my remains two monsters would defeat his monsters with the magic attacks at once.

Without much struggles in the this round, I was able to eliminate the two remaining monsters of my opponent and that brought us to the end of the battle.
