Greetings to all Splinterlands warlocks, I a here once again, and I welcome you all to my blog as well, today I write to submit and share my entry to the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge. Since this is a random battle, I would be making use of any maybe a good battle of mine. Let's see how it goes in this post guys.

I used my account @abu78 in participating in this battle. I am currently playing in the Silver stage. Before I demonstrate my battle here, let's briefly look into the Rulesets of the gameplay that I would be displaying here.

Three Rulesets Battle

Ruleset IconDescription
Enraged
All monsters have the enraged ability. Increase Melee attack and Speed when damaged. Values are multiplied by 1.5 and rounded up. Prefer Melee monsters with Sneak, and Opportunity in the back row.
Scattershot
This monster's attacks hit a random enemy target. This indicates that when a monster makes an attack, there is extra damage to friendly monsters as well. It is advisable to use high-speed monsters so that you can inflict damage early.

My Team's Line-Up

Summoner:

I Drake of Arnak; summoner so that my monsters would get an increase in armor. It was a 28-mana game condition and I have to manage my card selection to suit that. In using the Drake of Arnak, I decided to get cards with some special abilities including Scavo hireling so I can be getting a replacement in Armor. Also, putting Djinn Chwala in the first position
would help me to perform extra damage to any monster that attacks it. Stich leech being an opportunity monster would attack Enemie's back line-up so that I can finish his monsters faster.

1st Position:

Djinn Chwala, this monster is an 8 mana card and it has a speed of 2 and 3 melee attack damage. It is a level 2 upgraded monster with 5 armor and 9 lives. I placed it in the first position so that it can attack and also perform damage to any monster that attacks it with its thorns ability.

From splintertools I was having a 72% chance of winning the battle but seeing his Time mage monster, I was thinking I would lose that battle though.

Round 1:
First of all, all monsters took their effect from the summoner by gaining extra armor, the Time Mage from my opponent reduced my speed by one. Time mage was the first monster to attack and unfortunately, it damaged and killed my Scavo hireling ability monster. At the end of the first round I was able to maintain monsters and I was also able to kill one of his monsters that is the Uraeus. My Djinn Chwala monster also did an extra two damages to his first monster as well.

Round 2:
Round two then began and as usual, his Time Mage monster first attacked my whelp herder monster after which celestial harpy also attacked my stitch leech monster again. The blinding reflector monster also attacked my first-position monster and was inflicted with two damage back. My Stitch leech monster then attacked and killed the celestial harpy monster of my opponent. Also, the Time Mage monster of my opponent was killed by the cave slug monster in my third position.

Round 3:

In this round, the time mage was killed and my monsters now recovered their normal speed back. Now, I did attack first with my whelp herder monster and killed the blinding reflector monster of my opponent. In this round, I also lost one monster that is the Whelp Herder. This was killed by the magic attack of Adelede brightwing At the end of round three, I was left with four monsters in my lineup and my opponent was left with just two, that is stitch leech and adelede brightwing. I was then having hope and belief in winning the battle in the next round.

Round 4:
In this round with two monsters left for my opponent, he was able to manage to take the battle to the next round. The Stitch leech monster from his lineup attacked my Djinn Chwala monster and with the thorns ability of my monster, it damaged the remaining two lives of it. It was left with the last monster on his lineup. All my remaining monsters missed their attacks and it lead to the fifth round.

Round 5:
In this final round, I was still having four monsters against the last standing monster of my opponent. With the Cave Slug monster attacking it and damaging all its armor, the Djinn Chwala monster then finally attacked it and made 5 damage which took all its five lives remaining and that ends the battle and also the end of round five as well.

I wasn’t expecting this battle to end in just five rounds after seeing the Time Mage monster in my opponent's lineup because I was thinking it was going to take it to a longer period. I must say that the Djinn Chwala monster in my lineup really helped me to win this battle with ease, especially after inflicting two damages to all monsters that attack by melee. I guess I made a perfect selection with my monsters here in this battle and it really granted me this win.

The battle in which I wasn't expecting a win, but luckily on my side, I won with it. That was an amazing battle for me and I know you guys would be amazed to see me winning this great battle.

Thank you all for your time and attention for going through my post. A link to my battle is provided here Battle Link
