Battle Mage Secrets Challenge - Making good use of Obsidian with little league ruleset

Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's challenge. This is going to be my fourth participation in the weekly challenge and I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Today, the battle ruleset is "Little League" and I would submit my entry to that here in this post including a video of my battle.

Per the Ruleset of the game, Little league, Only units and summoners with a mana cost of 4 or less may be used. I used my personal account @abu78 in participating in this battle. I am currently playing in the Silver stage. Before I demonstrate the battle here, let's briefly look into the Ruleset of the game.

Little league
Only units and summoners with a mana cost of 4 or less may be used. Monsters and summoners of 4 Mana or less will be the only ones available in this ruleset. Try increasing your defense by using summoners that give +1 armor or +1 health. Use monsters with at least 2 magic damage and 2 ranged damage. Using Mylor as a summoner in this ruleset helps a lot.

Little league can be found with the following Rulesets

Summoner:

I chose Obsidian summoner so that my monsters would get an increase in magic attack ability. It was a 39-mana game condition and I have to manage my card selection to suit that. In using the Obsidian I selected magic attack monsters so that they can have an increase in attacks. Placing Djinn Biljika at the back line would help to continuously apply damage to my opponent's monster without being attacked since it can only be attacked at the first position. Halfing Alchemist was also a good option adding it to my lineup as it helped me to decrease the attack of my opponent's monsters. Queen Mycelia also gave my monsters two additional armors.

1st Position:

Fungus Flinger, this card has the ability to increase all stats of monsters adjacent to it when it dies. As a result of its magic, I placed it at the first position so that when it dies, it can increase all stats of my Xenith Monk monster.

Round 1:

First of all, all monsters took their effect from the summoner by gaining extra magic attack ability. Also, the abilities of the monster also took effect before the first round began. His monster (Revealer) attacked first followed by Venari Bonesmith and then his last position monster also attacked my fungus flinger at the first position. His Ravenhood Warden monster finally got my fungus flinger killed and it increased all stats of Xenith monk which was adjacent to it.

Uraeus from my monster then attacked his last position monster and was able to take off two of its armor. Magic attack from queen mycelia also took two lives of his first-position monster. At the end of the first round, my opponent was having all his monsters intact whilst I was left with five more monsters.

Round 2:

Round two began, and as usual, his monsters attacked me first and were able to damage and stun my first monster (Xenith monk). Also, I was also able to kill one of his monsters in this round.

We were all left with five more monsters on our lineup and I was hoping to win this battle after killing his riftwing monster.

Round 3:

In this round, we were both left with five monsters as said earlier. After his attacks, Uraeus on my lineup attacked the last monster on my opponent's lineup and kill it. Dhamppir Infiltrator monster of my opponent which does double attack then eliminated my Uraeus monster too.

Also, queen mycelia was able to take the remaining two lives left on his Revealer monster and eliminated that as well. At the end of this round, I was able to eliminate two of his monsters and I was now having an upper hand in winning the battle.

Round 4:

In this round with three monsters left for my opponent, and I think he can’t take this battle to the next game round again because I was going to finish him at that spot.

He attacked by then all his magic attack monsters were eliminated and so he has to overcome my monsters armor before reaching out to the lives. I killed one more monster on his lineup and he was left with just two more t go whilst I was having four monsters on my lineup. I guess, the fifth round would end this battle and that was what happened.

Round 5:

In this round, my opponent got only two Kulu Swinhunter monsters left whilst I was having four monsters in my lineup to face them. Xenith monk attacked first and damaged the armor after which the Dhampir Infiltrator double attacked me after which Queen mycelia then eliminated it with its magic attack ability.

It was left with Ravenhood Warden monster on my opponent's lineup, which my last monster (Djinn Biljika) attacked it with its magic ability and eliminated it at a go.

This was how my battle went and I won it with my strategy used. I think going with magic monsters when the little league ruleset is given is a good one. It was a successful selection for me in this battle and I think my strategy for going in for the *Obsidian summoner was a great one. Thank you all for your time and attention for going through my post. A link to my battle is provided here Battle Link
