Battle Mage Secrets Challenge - Lost Legendaries

Greetings to all and sundry on this great platform, I welcome you all to my blog and today I write to participate in this week's challenge. This is going to be my fourth participation in the weekly challenge and I am very happy to be part of the Splinterlands family. I hope that you guys would like my entry. Without much ado, I would like to go straight to the purpose of this post. Today, the battle ruleset is "Lost Legendaries" and I would submit my entry to that here in this post including a video of my battle.

Per the Ruleset of the game, Lost Legendaries, Only units, and summoners with a mana cost of 4 or less may be used. I used my personal account @abu78 to participate in this battle. I am currently playing in the Bronze stage. Before I showcase the battle here, let's briefly look into the Ruleset of the game.

Summoner:

I chose the Obsidian summoner so that my monsters would get an increase in magic attack ability. It was a 29 mana game condition and I have to manage my card selection to suit that. In using the Obsidian I selected magic attack monsters so that they can increase attacks. Placing Fungus Flinger in the first position would help to increase all stats of the Unicorn Mustang monster when it dies. Psychic Goblin was also a good option adding it to my lineup as it helps to restore the life of my first-position monster. Magi of Chaos was also a good option as it would now be inflicting three damages after taking the effect of the summoner.

1st Position:

Fungus Flinger, this card has the ability to increase all stats of monsters adjacent to it when it dies. As a result of its magic, I placed it in the first position so that when it dies, it can increase all stats of my Unicorn Mustang monster. His summoner reduced my monster's speed and I think that gave him an upper hand over me.

Round 1:

First of all, all monsters took their effect from the summoner by gaining extra magic attack ability. Also, the abilities of the monster also took effect before the first round began. Immediately when I saw the Quora monster in his lineup, I gave up on winning this battle. And that was what just happened at the end of the battle.

His summoner also reduced all my monsters' speed which gave him the upper hand over me.

His Quora attacked first with the magic damage, after which my Chaos Magi attacked and eliminated his first position monster. After its death, all stats of Quora was increased. His Madcap Magus monster then attacked and eliminated my halfing alchemist monster. Goblin Psychic on my lineup increased the life of my fungus flinger monster and and then attacked his Quora.

Round 2:

Round two began, and as usual, his Quora attacked my first position monster and eliminated it.

I was left with four monsters before this round began while my opponent was having three monster.

Round 3:

In this round, we were left with three monsters each but then he was having two healing monsters and that was a good advantage for him to use and win the battle.

At the end of the round, both of us were still having our three monsters active but then my monsters were having more damages than his because of the healer he had and also the self healing monster (Quora).

Round 4:

In this round with my monsters were now weak and with just one attack from Quora he eliminated my Unicorn Mustang monster and also eliminated the Goblin Psychic monster on my lineup as well.

I was left with two monsters after the end of this battle whilst my opponent was still having the three monsters active and strong.

Round 5:

In this round, my opponent got three monsters in his lineup and I was left with just two monsters. His Quora monster eliminated my Magi of Chaos monster with magic ability.

Also, my Goblin Psychic monster was eliminated as well and this brought us to the end of the battle.

This was how the battle went and I lost this one. I think going with magic monsters when the lost legendaries ruleset is given is a good one but then his Quora monster was able to disturb and eliminate all my monsters. It was a good selection for me in this battle and I think my strategy for going in for the *Obsidian summoner was a great one. Thank you all for your time and attention for going through my post.
