Ustructured Weekends

"I believe every human has a finite number of heartbeats. I don't intend to waste any of mine."
—Neil Armstrong

Hey everyone. I hope you all are fine. I am here to share my thoughts and views on the #weekend-engagement brought to us by none other than @galenkp who never fails us in bringing some really interesting topics. I would like to shed some light upon how my weekends are mostly unorganized.

During the weekdays, most of us have a planned set up which makes us stay organized. I am an aspirant and most of my time is allotted to study related tasks even during weekend. But, weekend mostly stays raw and messy for me. There remain no planned tasks as I let spontaneity strike.

I am not an impulsive sort of guy. I don't let my emotions get the best of me. However, I try to stay light headed on weekends as much as I can. If I feel like reading a novel, I give it a go. If a feel like doing Netflix and chill, I do that for hours without standing for even a minute.

During my exam days, I had prepared a timetable and I used to make a TO-DO list for the day in the day. It is no longer the case in weekends. I have recently given my exams in October and I have given myself some leniency to be myself on the weekends and do whatever my mind tells me to do.

I usually read novels before one hour of going to sleep and do my academics during the entire day. But, today, I have decided to give this novel the entire day. I just felt like reading the entire day. You can get a hint of how unorganized and unstructured my weekends are. I might even use Netflix to watch a movie or two later this evening. So, nothing stays fixed.

For that matter, I am currently reading this novel; AND THE MOUNTAINS ECHOED by KHALED HOSSEINI I love the way he writes and his art of characterization is amazing too. Recently, I finished his novel named THE KITE RUNNER (not to mention that I started and ended that novel in just a weekend.) I was too tired and sick of my routine and of staying organized which is why I just gave it a shot and stayed in my bed to read that novel for as long as I could.

This is what weekends are for right? I believe that we should not let ourselves too organized. It does bring the best out of us, but at what cost? the creativity fun are compromised in that course of action. This is what makes us humane; staying organized and a bit unstructured at the same time. This is what I think, I might be wrong and I might not be. I always try to be productive even if I am unstructured.

Thank you for your time and support. It means a lot to me. Do share your thoughts and views to engage in the comments section below.

You are there, sometimes weekend needs no planning whatsoever...just allow the spontaineity to flow is awesome.

Review the novel and post so that we can be part of the fun
