The Hardworking peasants- Monomad challenge

“Sometimes you wake up. Sometimes the fall kills you. And sometimes, when you fall, you fly.”
― Neil Gaiman, The Sandman, Vol. 6: Fables & Reflections

Hi everyone. I hope you all are doing well out there. I have seen some really amazing pictures here in this community which is both inspiring and skillful. I am learning from the greats of the game. This is my entry to the #monomad challenge and I am hopeful that you will like the photos this time too.

This is my entry photo. I have taken in my own city Larkana. This guy is a labor. This is very common here. You might find it absurd that in this age of technology and AI, people still use donkey carts to carry goods. I say, AI and technology is not very mundane like real things here in our city. It is still a developing one. For this guy, carrying these sacks of flour might mean a day's meal for his family. Life is not the same for everyone right? But we have to keep moving to keep the hustle alive.

I find it amusing how powerful we become when it comes to our families. I took other shots too where people were busy in their own lives on the very same road. How fascinating it is that all of these pictures are taken on the same road, the individuals are different and so are their problems, but all of it is rooted in the major cause of life. For me, this is something fascinating.

This was another guy pulling a cart himself. He was selling ice cream. It is yet another very tough job. The profit margin is not great either. The weather is changing, the ice cream demand is rising as we head towards the summer in Pakistan.

I call this picture 'The Goatman' This guy was standing with his goat. I presume he was from a village here to sell his goat for some money. There is a ground in my neighborhood where people gather on Wednesdays and Saturdays to sell and purchase cattle. People raise their cattle and sell it in the cities. I feel that a sense of attachment must also be developed in this course of action.

I saw a beggar here. I do not know what to say here. It makes me feel sad. It is a tragedy that one side of humanity is getting rich and the other is getting deprived of all the rights and amenities and basic fundamentals.

This is a local vehicle with very cheap fare. people hop on to it to reach their destinations.

I have used my Google pixel 5 to take these pictures and used Adobe Literoom to edit these pictures. I think that adding black and white colors makes these pictures more deep and pleasing.

I hope you will like these black and white pictures. Do share your views and thoughts in the comments section below so that we can learn and grow together. Thank you so much for your time and support, it means a lot to me.

Ps: The pictures are mine taken with my Google Pixel 5 in my city.
