Ramadan Edition- Monomad Challenge

“It is one of the blessings of old friends that you can afford to be stupid with them.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson, Emerson in His Journals

Hey everyone. I hope you all are fine. I would like to take a moment to thank all of you for the support on my previous entry. Thank you so much for the support and love. It means a lot to me.

This my entry to the #monomad challenge. The holy month of Ramadan is ongoing. It is such a precious month for entire humanity. It teaches us about the things that the poor factions of the society go through. We get the sense of their deprivation. Moreover, we also learn to value the blessings of food and water. We normally forget to value and acknowledge how important these things are for our survival, but after staying hungry for several hours, one sip of water makes us feel grateful.

This is my entry photo. I have rosary (Tasbih) in my hands where I'm praising the Almighty. I've read that scientifically, rosary helps with anxiety issues. I don't know if that's true.
I believe that this month is for internal purification too. We get surrounded by negativity and toxicity through out the year. In this month during the fast, we are prohibited strictly from all the negative traits and tendencies. We learn self control and hence detoxify ourselves. Its almost the 20th of Ramadan and I can clearly feel a change in myself.

Yesterday, I invited two of my friends for Iftar and we went for a short session of photography too before the breaking of the fast. This is my friend Kashif. We spend good time together. I use my Google Pixel phone to take the pictures. I love how the portrait shots come out brilliantly in this phone even though this is the lower variant.

We took photos around the fields. We always seek a peaceful and close to nature place for our photography. After the editing of black and white, the pictures look great too. This is why I love black and white photography.

What are your thoughts on Ramadan? Feel free to answer because I am tolerant to difference of opinion.

I hope you liked the blog and the pictures. Thank you for your time and support. It means a lot to me. Do share your views and thoughts in the comments section below so that we can learn and grow together. Do not forget to follow my account for more such content. Have a peaceful day ahead.

Ps: The pictures are mine taken with my Google Pixel 5 and edited with The Adobe Literoom app
