Rain and Flowers- Monomad Challenge

“Raise your words, not voice. It is rain that grows flowers, not thunder.”
― Rumi

Hi everyone. I hope you all are fine. I am here to share a few pictures that I recently took during a short but pleasant episode of rain here. This is my entry to the #monomad challenge. I hope you will like the pictures.

This is my entry photo for the contest. A few different types of flowers are planted on the rooftop of our house. Their aroma is very pleasant. They are not so fragrant, still their delicacy makes the view very pleasant to the eye. It had rained a few days back and the little droplets on the leaflets of these flowers made them look even more interesting. How interesting do you find rain? I see it as a marvel of nature that never fails to amaze me.

I love how the addition of black and white colors have made the rain droplets more prominent and beautiful. It always gives an aesthetic touch to the pictures. When I was a child, I remember that rain was my absolute favorite. I used to stand under the tree during rain so that the drops of rain are touched by the leaves of the tree and then gently touch my face. This is a beautiful memory that I would cherish forever about rain.

Rain may not be as pleasant for everyone. I know, but a light drizzle is something that brings a change of emotions into everyone. It is a whole different vibe. I can quote the example of these flowers. They were not looking so fresh as they look now after the rain. Their aroma and fragrance changed immediately after rain.

This is my favorite. I love how these little flowers being so delicate make me smile. These are mood lifters for me. I pay them a visit on our rooftop whenever I feel low.

There was this little guest too. It paid a visit when there was raining outside. Perhaps it was looking for a shelter as I mentioned that rain is not pleasant for everyone. This is black cat with white mustache and I guess it will be welcomed in this community wholeheartedly.

She had really pretty and amazing eyes.

Thank you for your time and support. It means a lot to me. I hope you will like the pictures. Do share your views and thoughts in the comments section below so that we can learn and grow together. Take care of yourself and have a great day ahead. Do not forget to follow my account for more such content.

In literary work, black cat is depicted as sign of death/sorrow. The black cat in your blog stole all the highlights .
Beautiful ❤️
