The Two Sides of the Coin: Success Through Struggle and Life's Harsh Lessons.

Do you know that sometimes we have to go the hard way before we will be able to accomplish some things? Success, they say, does not come so easily, and failure, they say, also does not come easily, but it is a bit different because to fail, you won't go through more stress like you will when you are trying to be successful. That is why when you are doing something and you feel like you are stressing so much to become successful and the person is not yielding to what you are doing, it is best you just leave the person because the greatest teacher of all time will teach the person.

And when I mean the greatest teacher of all time, I am talking about life. Life is a thing that everyone has, and if you do not take it very seriously, it is very easy for it to turn against us as humans because there are some kinds of opportunities that we will lose, but they will never be easy for us to regain again if life chooses to be lenient with us.

Yesterday, while I was out with a friend of mine, we saw an incident that happened that involved a little girl and an elderly woman, which led to an argument. But initially I never had plans to interfere in their issues because it was never my problem, but at some point I heard what happened and how the young lady spent misbehaving with the elderly woman, so my friend and I had to interfere.

And the funny aspect was that when we got close to them, we were not even trying to be on their side but to ensure they stopped the argument that they had been into for some time, and the next thing this young lady would say was give us an insult for interfering in their business, and immediately my friend gave her a slap for that, and that already gave us enough evidence we needed. And I scolded her about why she should act so rudely to an elderly person.

She had no genuine reason for her actions, and I continued to lash her some words for her to come to her senses that when we see elders, we are meant to respect them. And this gives me a lot of biased impressions about the growing youths of these generations because they no longer have any form of ethics. They do not want to know if you are older than them or not and they seize every opportunity they see to misbehave and they feel they are above any law and no one can stop them.

Some even go as far as joining secret cult groups for them to be untouched because they know that when people know that they belong to a deadly group, they won't want to come close to them and they will be able to do whatever they like and go free with it. After a lot of dialogue, she admitted that she was wrong, and that was after most people were against her. I had to tell her to apologize for allowing peace to reign, and she did.

Elders will surely be elders. Even if it's just a day you have someone senior to you, that day still means a lot because if such a person should have gained experience for that single day, you might not get it if you spend more days after that person. Respect is reciprocal, and you should also do to others what you want them to do to you.

Most times I will agree with you, I’ve got a lot of respect for the elderly people that deserve it. There are a number of people that I know and live near hat are old but they are the most miserable, unhappy fucking people I’ve ever met in my life. I think we have to be careful to assume the parties involved here weren’t in a situation where the old person wasn’t being an unreasonable asshole.

Now I will say those that deserve the respect fully get it. I’ve got some great neighbors and average ones where they get the treatment they deserve but there’s also those that just warrant a fuck off attitude and response.

Yeah, you are very right. That was why I couldn't just conclude because I knew the elderly one can be wrong at some point. But for those that truly deserve it, they are worth giving because they deserve it. It's good you've got a better neighbour around you my friend.
