The first day I ate indomie noodles was exceptional
Many years ago, I always watched people eating noodles on television, during those days, as the advert would be going on, I will turned my mouth from left to right, the thing was that, noodles were not found on the part of the country I reside.
It amazed me and my siblings so much to watched that kind of advertisement, we were always shouting and imagining how delicious eating noodles would taste like.
I always called my siblings to come and watch the way people ate noodles on the television, especially, at that spot the cook would have a taste and before dishing it to her children in the family.
I remember my brother getting so mad at me, because he skipped to watched a particular indomie noodles advert, it happens that, he went inside the restroom which was a bit far from the parlour to ease himself, and immediately he left, the indomie noodles advert took place.
I knew how badly we love watching indomie advert but I didn't want to informed him about the advert that particular time, because, I knew how he behaves, he wouldn't mind leaving the restroom to the parlour, while he was not through with easing himself.
So, when he gets to the parlour, our neighborhood told him about the just concluded indomie noodles advert, and he was so annoyed with me, he said that, I should have called him to come, yet I refused and if it was him, he wouldn't have mind to called me, yet, I refuse because, he was just going out to ease himself and I didn't want him to rush inside the parlour, because on that day, our parents were having visitors.
My brother avoid me for a whole week but he later let it go, but told me, I should seek for his opinion first on the thing's he love and I shouldn't decide them on my own.
I was happy that we were as best friends again, and the indomie noodles advert continue for sometimes, we were getting tired of seeing people eating noodles on the television and, so we wanted to taste it too.
Then one morning, my brother refused to eat breakfast in the house, he told my mom that he wants to eat indomie noodles.
I was laughing at him because, indomie didn't get to our part of the country as at that time, I told him, it's only in Lagos and Abuja that indomie is in the country as at this very moment.
I didn't had an idea that, when my went to buy biscuits on our neighbors shop, he saw the indomie noodles that were fresh and looking deliciously inside the pack.
His refusal of eating meal wasn't just ordinarily, he meant it that he wouldn't eat any other thing that day than noodles, it was in the afternoon already and he was still not eating anything, Mom became scared, she didn't want him to get stomach bite.
He asked him, "if he had seen indomie sold in any place around?, I heard "Yes" from brother, even me, I didn't know that indomie noodles was sold around us, and we can finally taste it, before the advert on the television would finished us.
My mom and my brother went to our neighbors shop and they came back with indomie noodles, she cooks it for us and we ate it.
After eating, I took one pack of the indomie into my box and lock it, so that i can remember that day.
It was two packs Indomie noodles and my brother took the other pack of the indomie, I didn't know where he put his own pack, but I am sure it would be on his box too, at the down part if it, where his clothes wouldn't make it to tear.
