Pray for me; A young man wish (Inspiring music)

The song Pray for me by Darey and the Soweto Choir is a story that tells the story of many young adult. Becoming an adult is not a simple task, you will get to a stage you have to make many decision that would affect your life.

In the song “Pray for me” Darey explained how a young man who has become of age was ready to leave his parent house for the city with the hope of making a name for himself. His father tried to persuade him from not going because he knows the danger that lies ahead. He told him how unwelcoming the city is and her might lost his way.

Being a young adult, he was ready to give it a try even when he knows he might lost his way. He went ahead to the city and it wasn’t what he was expecting. The only request he made before he left home was for his family to pray for him.

It took 4years and 11 month for him to be able to contact his family after getting to the city. A lot has changed at home, his sister who he left as a little girls is now a grown up. He explained how everything his father told him about the city was a true but he was ready to face the hardship because he was already becoming a man and he requested for prayer again.
