Hello to all my dear friends at @foodiesbeehive. It is a pleasure to greet you and wish you a happy day. I am pleased to share with you a preparation that I make for the first time. It is a green plantain bread or what we call plantain pinton. The best thing about this recipe is that it includes no added flours and is gluten free. Among other benefits, it is easy and quick to make. I consider it important to have healthy options and alternatives to prepare at any time.

Additionally, I find seasonal fruits, vegetables and greens that encourage me to include them in some of my recipes. In my case, I have noticed improvements in my body since I have decreased the consumption of refined flours. Although I have not completely eliminated them, I try to prepare dishes substituting them for nutritious and healthier ingredients such as plantains.

I hope you like the Banana Bread recipe. This preparation yielded for 8 servings, here is my step by step.


INGREDIENTS

  • 2 green plantains.
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons soybean oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

PREPARATION

I started by peeling and cutting the plantains into small pieces. Then I added them to the blender cup. I also added the oil, eggs, salt, baking powder, baking soda and thyme. Once the ingredients were added, I took to process (blender) until a uniform mixture was obtained. I poured the preparation into a previously greased loaf pan. Finally, I took it to the preheated oven for 30 minutes at 180 °C.

At the end of the baking time, I checked that it was ready by inserting a knife, which came out clean. I took it out and let it cool to unmold. Friends this really was a fantastic recipe. When I cut my bread to taste it was really fluffy and very appetizing. I loved its texture and exquisite taste. You can try this recipe with confidence and add the spices of your preference.

Hola a todos mis apreciados amigos de @foodiesbeehive. Es un placer saludarlos y desearles un felíz día. Me complace compartir con ustedes una preparación que por primera vez realizo. Se trata de un pan de plátano verde o lo que llamamos plátano pinton. Lo mejor de esta receta es que no incluye harinas añadidas y es libre de gluten. Entre otros beneficios, es fácil y rápida de elaborar. Considero importante tener opciones y alternativas saludables para preparar en cualquier momento.

Adicionalmente, encuentro frutas, hortalizas y vegetales de temporada que me animan a incluir éstos en algunas de mis recetas. En mi caso, he notado mejoras en mi organismo desde que he disminuido el consumo de harinas refinadas. Aunque no del todo las he eliminado, trato de preparar platillos sustituyendo las harinas por ingredientes nutritivos y más saludables como el plátano.



Espero la receta Pan de Plátano sea de su agrado. Esta preparación rindió para 8 porciones a continuación mi paso a paso.

INGREDIENTES

• 2 Plátanos verdes.
• 3 huevos
• 2 cucharadas de aceite de soya
• Sal al gusto
• 1/2 cucharadita de Tomillo
• 1/2 cucharadita polvo para hornear
• 1/2 cucharadita de bicarbonato de sodio

PREPARACIÓN

Comencé pelando y cortando los Plátanos en trozos pequeños. Luego los agregué al vaso de la licuadora. Asímismo agregué el aceite, huevos, sal, polvo para hornear, bicarbonato de sodio y el tomillo. Una vez agregados los ingredientes, llevé a procesar(licuar) hasta lograr una mezcla uniforme. Vertí la preparación en un molde para pan, previamente engrasado. Por último llevé al horno precalentado durante 30 minutos a 180 °C.

Al pasar el tiempo de horneado, verifiqué que estuviera listo, introduciendo un cuchillo; el cuál salió limpio. Saqué y dejé enfriar para desmoldar. Amigos realmente esta fué una fantástica receta. Cuando corté mi pan para probar estaba esponjoso y muy apetecible. Me encantó su textura y su sabor exquisito. Pueden probar esta receta con confianza y agregarle las especies de su preferencia.

A healthy version or banana bread, that looks really good. And it only has a few ingredients, so easy to make too. Sad we don't have an oven.

Amiga thank you for your comment. I'm glad you liked my recipe. It doesn't matter if you don't have an oven, you can make it in a skillet over low heat, well covered. You will have the same result. Try it

Amiga realmente muy delicioso. Te recomiendo esta receta. Lo puedes comer en la cena y desayunos. Puedes agregar las especies de tu preferencia. Quedó muy esponjoso y von sabor exquisito. Me alegro que te haya gustado.
