Brawl Report #75 - Winning half of my matches

Splinterland Brawls are a guild event where you can earn merits and SPS. This post serves as a way for me to review how my fights went and as a reminder to sign up for the next brawl. It was an average brawl this time around as I won half of my matches.

Brawl fights

There were 3 fights that I won and 3 that I lost. So I included an idea of what the match was below along with a few thoughts about it. I did lose one of my matches because I forgot to submit my team in time. I haven't done that before and I need to make sure that I don't make that mistake again in the future.

You can find the first match here. I lost this match. My opponent just had more damage than me and that bloodlust added up over time as I couldn't live long enough.

You can find the second match here. I lost this match and I couldn't do much against my opponent. It didn't help that my monsters were missing most of my attacks and my opponent's summoner gave him thorns.

You can find the third match here. I won this match because I was able to deal enough damage and the bloodlust did help as it increased my damage. I also had the speed advantage.

You can find the fourth match here. I won because I took advantage of the ruleset that gave my monsters reach and used Coastal Sentry to deal enough damage against my opponent.

You can find the fifth match here. I won this match because I took advantage of the ruleset and I had more damage than my opponent.

Brawl Result

I chose the gold foil modern brawl and I got 3 win and 3 losses. I didn't do so well but I didn't get completely wiped. My rewards for the brawl were 3,333 merits and 24.794 SPS in the 3 star category. I forgot to visit the guild and take a closer view of my rewards but I think we did not rank last place. We haven't been doing so great in brawl lately and our guild has also been considering going back to 4 star brawls because our rank hasn't changed too much.

Conclusion

My performance was average this time around was great and it looks like I was placed in the bronze brawls. Getting half of my fights as win is good. I think brawls are a great way of earning SPS and merits for the number of battles you participate in even in the 3 star category. I don't know which area I will fight next time but I am just glad that I had a great brawl for the first time in a while.
